Riverview Tourist Park is located in the townsite of Margaret River, the renowned wine region of Western Australia. The park is a unique garden setting that undulates from the road down to some frontage to the river and on the other side is state forest with walking/riding tracks to town or east towards ten mile brooke dam. A large range of cabins are available, most have ensuite, all have heating, cooling, linen and balcony with some overlooking the river. Free gas barbecues are located at the campers kitchen and at the riverfront along with a great gazebo and seating for large groups. Caravan and campervan bays are available (some with ensuite). Getting There : Margaret River is 280 kilometres (170 miles) south of Perth. Hire a car and take a leisurely half day drive, take the Australind train from Perth to Bunbury and drive on from there (100kms/62miles), catch the daily bus from Perth to Margaret River or fly down to Margaret River Airport and Riverview will provide a pickup.
The town of Margaret River with its hotel, pubs, restaurants, craft galleries and gift shops is a short walk away.
The area is famous for its wineries and the local cheese factory is open to the public. There are beaches and sea fishing at nearby Prevelly and some magnificent caves both north and south of Margaret River. Explore the river by canoe or walk among the tall trees and discover the beauty of the local bush.
