Very clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Parking was easy and cost is best we've found for Melbourne. Buffet breakfast was delicious. Shame the restaurant was still closed for the holidays, however the location means that Lygon St is handy for dinner. Will definitely stay again.

There was only a couple of things I could fault. We had a pram and there was no alternate access only the stairs. It is very difficult to get the pram up and down. The staff had sighted us struggling with the pram and never said that there was an easier way so I only assume that this was the only access. Breakfast was advertised until 9:30 however upon arrival to breakfast we were told that breakfast had been changed to finish at 9am. The lovely staff member was kind enough to allow us to have our breakfast however we were made to feel rushed. The poor staff member that was serving breakfast was very flustered and was making many mistakes. In turn I paid for a cooked breakfast when I only ordered the continental. I am a firm believer that if u don't know u can't fix it. So please don't think this is a complaint. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a street view room which was not a problem until at 7am sunday morning when a car sat under our room window with blairing music. Not great after a saturday night out when you can have a sleep in because you have 11am check out. Otherwise was very happy with the hotel location and stay.

It was a most enjoyable stay at the hotel, very close to Lygon street and the city. The reception staff were most obligeing. The bed was very comfortable, lovely fluffy towels however the spa bath would not accommodate two people.

We stayed with you in Carlton on Saturday night 1st Dec 2012. There was a tour of Asians that were loud and very drunk at 7.00pm around the pool area. Staff did not seem to care. Between 4.30 - 5.30am the same tour were up and moving with one vomitting outside our room for 34 hour. Very noisy with doors banging early hours. Not a peaceful sleep at all.

The room was spacious, modern and well appointed as was the bathroom. Street noise was an issue. The staff were friendly and very obliging, especially as my later flight meant I needed to store my luggage there for a few hours after checking out. The location was excellent being only one block from Lygon St.

the staff were consistently helpful, polite, and friendly, and the room was pleasant and quiet (I requested a quiet room). I don't like staying in hotels/motels - but I found this experience very pleasant. I enjoyed the breakfast as well.

We arrived a little earlier than noted arrival time of 1 and room wasn't ready so we were told 2 so we we.t had some lunch etc and game back st 2 still wasn't ready came back again lady at desk was so apologetic and gave us a free full brekky for the next morning. We totally understand times are busy and were very happy with our vouchers and the brekky was amazing :-) thouroughly enjoyed and would definately stay with you again
