It was a pleasant stay in a comfortable room, with a friendly welcome. All contact with staff was polite and friendly. The recommendation to go to Brunetti's for a coffee and a bite to eat in the afternoon was spot on!

Staff, location and cleanliness all very good. However found room uncomfortably stuffy, doona too heavy and pillows not to my liking resulting in a bad night for me. Breakfast good and service there excellent. Parking random and a bone of contention with a number of guests we met in the lift.

A great place to stay, very comfortable and clean rooms, very good service, love the fact that our car can be parked securely overnight, and so close to Melb university and restaurants and attractions .it's a great place for country people to stay

Very helpful and friendly reception staff. I lost my key and needed to check in online for my flight, and the staff were excellent about this. Rooms (esp bathrooms) were small, but impeccably clean. Very convenient location.

Upon arrival the reception staff was friendly although a little vague! I assumed car parking was a part of the accomodation package I paid for online. Staff require to be up to date on what services are included with each room deal sold online. The actual accomodation was very pleasant and our family enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. I had been allocated a rather dingy room over the top of the carpark. I went back to the concierge and explained that I had an extremely busy day's work the following day and couldn't afford to be disturbed by cars coming and going. I was given instead a beautiful room in another part of the hotel that looked a lot like an upgrade for no extra fee. This is excellent customer service.

My wife and i recently had a very pleasant two night stay. The room was clean and tidy, the bed very comfortable and there was little noise to be heard. Breakfast was more than adequate and being just around the corner from Lygon Street was a bonus. We will stay there again.

Aside from an unfortunate incident between two of your other guests that happened to rooming next to me (2am shouting/screaming match between a woman and her guest that required two police visits), this was a fine stay. I especially enjoyed the morning chats with your dining staff.
