Very friendly and obliging staff staff. After a 4 hour drive to Melbourne, we fancied a realaxing drink, the bar wasn't open yet but reception staff were happy to serve us behind the bar, until we wanted some sparking wine (which they didn't have) so we were kindly informed that we could purchase our own bottle from the bottle shop on lygon street and enjoy it by the pool. My husband and I were quite pleased. (By the way, we stayed EIGHT nights, rather than five.) All of the staff at the front desk were very helpful and very professional. The young woman who was working alone at the desk Sunday evening October 10 had a heavy task - a large bus group was checking in, there was someone else who needed assistance, and here I came to see about settling my bill so I could save some time in the morning when it was time to leave. She cheerfully explained - as she handled everyone's problem - that on Sunday evening things were usually quieter. I think Travel Inn should be pleased that they have such an employee. One concern, there was no information about the breakfast on offer, both content and price unlike other Best Westerns we stayed in. By the time we got to see prices and what was on offer we were sat at the table and felt committed.
