Staff including cleaners were very friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Close to restaurants and cafés and tram services. The basement car park was tight and difficult to manoeuvre around and exit from.

We have been staying at your hotel for 40 years and this is the first time I have had to complain and I stress it was not due to your management. The noise of a party being celebrated somewhere close by, not on your premises, was most intrusive. I spoke with the charming and helpful young lady at reception who kindly arranged for me to move to another room. I would really like to acknowledge the professional and caring way in which she handled the situation. May I suggest you try and locate where the noise was emanating from so that it does not occur again I can assure we will return to your hotel

I stayed with my family 6 people and booked 3 rooms. The experience was great . We had a samll issue with the parking and had to pay for 1 night in the parking station. You should cover the cost if your own parking is not available - otherwise great JOB guys

Staff were lovely and helpful. Check in/check out was easy. I was surprised the pool was locked during the day but they quickly unlocked it for me when I asked. The hairdryer in my room was broken. The bath products provided in the room were really nice. The door to the bathroom in my room didn't easily close, you had to give it a big push after closing it for it to 'click' shut.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The room was great as was the breakfast. The staff at breakfast were exceptional. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the lady at reception who checked us in. After two attempts our keys when our keys would not open the door to our room she came up and tried her mater key. She then said she would get us some more. After waiting some time I had to go to reception to get them. Franly she seemed totally indifferent to our frustration at not being able to access our room.

The staff are courteous and knowledgeable. I checked-in on 17 Jul 14 and need to change the room on 20 Jul 14 morning. Ms Mandi assisted us so that we can stay in the same room and do not have to go through the hassle of packing and unpacking the luggage. Special Thanks to Ms Quyen for being helpful, friendly, provide required information and proposed alternative suggestion to our query on land tours etc. This make our stay very memorable.

Would like to see a better room service menu - instead of replicating the restaurant menu, design a menu for tired people who just want a burger or BLT in their room - not a full on meal

I had a wonderful time while staying at the Best Western in Carlton, it's close proximity to the CBD, access to public transport and local shops/restaurants. It was perfect for us as we were there for Oz Comic-Con. I found the room very comfortable and clean. The one downside was that on the Sunday evening , we experienced some disturbances from across the hall with other patrons being incredible loud, however, this was not the fault of staff.

Always a pleasure to stay here, the rooms are perfect, staff are very helpful, car parking remains an issue, unless you arrive early you will miss out on a secure spot. As we come from the country and very water conscious, it was nice to see the economy shower roses that have been installed.
