Hotel was really good however found the restaurant a bit hit and miss the duck dish with vegetables and Asian spices was nearly indelible the Asian spices seemed to be sweet and sour sauce from a jar. The chicken was nicely cooked however from the description on the menu was expecting more of the cauliflower purée and there was too much sauce on the plate however that was simply my preference. This time it felt like to was an improvement from last time - I don't remember having free wifi there last time (but it may have). I have stopped staying at the Mantra in Melbourne in preference to this Best Western Airport hotel - great work Sean from Brisbane, Australia 04 October 2012

Car accommodation at $8 per night is very good value. Our room was very old fashioned and tired looking, especially the bathroom. Staff were ok, not outstanding, a smile would have been nice. Due to flight delays we didn't get in until 3am then had to check out at 10am so the $158 we paid was quite alot for 7 hours. I have just this very minute made another reservation for the 23rd August when i recieved this feednback form. The room was great but the blinds on both windows (room 74) did not provide privacy as someone on the outside could easily see in on the side of the window as the blind is too small for the window. Given that these windows look straight into the spa, it prevented me from enjoying a relaxing spa. I have requested another room on a different level for my next visit. Good location for ease of connection to an early morning international flight.
Pick up at Melbourne airport was quick and efficient.
We arrived at the motel quite early and were happy to store our bags as we wanted to head to a local Mall for last minute shopping.
The motel offered to drop us at the Mall, using the courtesy van, and as long as we made contact prior to 5.00pm, they would pick us up as well. Fantastic service, when the best we expected was directions to a bus stop.
Had a meal at the motel; steak was ok, but at the price I would have expected better than ok.
Free internet connection was very handy.
Unit was neat, clean, modern and comfortable.
Free shuttle to the airport early in the morning was great.
We had 10 nights in Australia; This was the best motel/hotel we stayed at, not so much for the facilities, but for a 110% effort by the staff.
As an ex motelier myself, I was very impressed.
I have already recommended the motel to my sister, and will do so for others as well.

The only negative I have is that I found it hard to sleep due to the amount of light in my room due to lights being left on all night outside the windows of the motel room.
