Fantastic second stay at Breakers North

With family living in and around the Gold Coast we have been visiting for years. This is the 27th accommodation service we have stayed at between Southport and Coolangatta and Breakers North sits on top of them all. Jim is extremely approachable and down to earth and nothing is too much trouble. I booked 10 nights 1 bedroom apartment (managers special) as this time only myself was visiting (usually its also the wife and 2 now teenage children) so I did not have high expectations. What I turned up to was an upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment which was simply perfect. King bed in one room, Queen and single in the other. 2 Bathrooms. Air Conditioning in each bedroom and living area. Massive lounge with leather. Huge dining and great kitchen. Balcony perfect overlooking patrolled beach. Facilities are perfect - easy parking (we are always driving so this is important for us), great pool and spa area and if you get an apartment from B to E on any floor you can watch the kids easily in the pool without leaving your room. BBQ's are brilliant and virtually on the beach and you have your own walkway direct to the beach. Sitting on the balcony on a busy weekend watching all the beach action is great, and if you get bored there is always the free Foxtel or the FREE wireless internet works a treat and will keep the kids happy for hours. But over all of that its the location of Breakers North that has me won over. Its peaceful....very peaceful with only the noise of the ocean to send you to sleep. For those who love a short walk, you have every day the option of taking a walk along the beach or road to Surfers Paradise (15 mins) or to Broadbeach (20 mins) and its all flat all the way. I walked to Jupiters and the convention centre and back - an easy stroll of 20 mins. In short, for those that have been to the coast before, love the beach, love a walk, like the peace and quiet and being very close to the action at the same time this is percet for you. Floors 5-7 would be ideal.

Fantastic location, we were in a lower level beachfront unit so we could watch the kids in the pool & playing tennis. The view of the beach was great also. 2 minutes from a lovely 2km beach/board walk where we went for a run every morning. Loved every minute of it. Thankyou.

Excellent location for what we required. Very helpful and obliging staff. Facilities are excellent and access to the beach and good walks is spot on! This was our second time there and we would definitely stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Breakers North and had the best family holiday we have ever had. We hired a car and did all the theme Parks and everything was within a half hour drive which was great . The beach view was amazing and the apartment was very comfortable. Security parking was great as was the safe access to the beach. The kids didn't even have to cross any roads to be on a safe patrolled beach. We loved the pool, spa and tennis court and made great use of it on the days we didn't want to go out anywhere. The apartment was nice and spacious and accommodated the five of us very well for a two bedroom apartment . If we had to come up with some improvements the only things we could say would be some of the cosmetic finishes in the apartment eg. Cracks in walls, peeling paint etc . Also noise from outside made it sometimes difficult to get to sleep or sleep in Overall though we absolutely loved our stay at Breakers North and would highly reccommend it to anyone. Thanks for a fun, comfortable and very affordable holiday .

Had a 3 night stay which went off without a hitch. The 1 bedroom apt (11G) was in good condition, and while not facing the beach (had beach views between buildings), it was actually nice not to have the blazing sun coming in, and make using the balacony a pleasant experience. Underground carpark was a breeze to use, and I had a big car. Beach is at the backdoor, had lifeguards all day, and very few people. The only real downside to the location is, there are no close shops unless you have a car, Then it is merely minutes away to Broadbeach shopping centre with free parking.

We enjoyed our stay at Breakers North very much and couldn't have wished for a more convenient location to the beautiful beach, and access to shops, restaurants and other facilities being within easy walking distance. The gentleman at reception during our stay (sorry, we missed his name) was very helpful, friendly and hospitable. We also appreciated his wry sense of humour.

We had a very pleasant stay. The location is terrific and the staff were friendly and helpful, although we didn't need them much. Negatives : the WiFi was useless, the couch was old and losing fluff and very uncomfortable, no roll down blinds in the living area (we only wanted them a couple of times but they should be there), the dining chair legs make the LOUDEST, MOST AWFUL noise you've ever heard on the tiles - get some felt pads or similar URGENTLY, the showers were hot and roomy but the pressure was sad, the dryer door switch is faulty and it takes 10 mins to get it going and make it keep going, one service in a 10 day stay was not really good enough particularly as they don't do any cleaning at all. Didn't mean this to sound like a big moan and we were still very happy with our stay just thought you'd prefer to know.

Lovely apartment. It was great to have 2 bathrooms, especially for showers after swimming. Very clean and well equipped. Staff were helpful when we needed something or questions answered. Nice clean pool and spa. We will be back sometime.

Staff were fantastic and very friendly. Were always there to help with any queries or problems we had. The view was fantastic especially on the 15th floor. Pool and outdoor facilities were very clean. Overall a great experience with Breakers North Surfers Paradise, made our holiday that much easier and relaxing.

We had a great family holiday at Breakers North Apartments. The location was fabulous with the beach and lifeguard just out the door, a good cafe and bottle store within walking distance, tennis court and heated swimming pool that we used every day and really handy to other shopping areas and cafes. It was a great first overseas travel experience for the children too, thank you for a wonderful time! We will be back, hopefully all the children will stay healthy next time....no chicken pox! Thanks again.

Absolutely perfect holiday. The apartment was excellent, nicely furnished, clean, great views over the pool, tennis court and the picture perfect ocean. Facilities are fantastic for a swim in the pool, the BBQ area which we made use of a few times and the easy access to the patrolled beach. Breakers North location is great, close enough to theme parks, shopping, restaurants and not forgetting the beach. It was the perfect holiday and our boys had a fantastic time on our first family holiday to Queensland. We would definately stay at Breakers North again on our next holiday to the Gold Coast.

We came to the Gold Coast for a relaxing holiday with our three children. We had a great time, excellent location, we loved that it was right next to the beach flags for swimming. We enjoyed it so much we extended our trip for an extra two nights and the staff were very accomodating with this. We will be back.

We live on the out skirts of melbourne and to hear the ocean at night and see the beautiful beach, and hear the wonderful laughter of children; life doesn't get much better than that.
