hotel staff were welcoming, helpful in assisting us to locate specific needs and information, and very hospitable. Central location was much appreciated, as we do not drive. Within walking distance to most places we planned to visit and also close to public transit for more distant attractions. Use of laundry facilities was much appreciated. My sister and I enjoyed the stay and found it to be a very good location. The rubbish trucks early in the morning were very noisy. The only thing I would suggest City Limits do for the rooms, is to replace the pillows more often, as they smelt sweaty and funky, but overall we were very happy and would stay again in a heartbeat. We loved it. Staff were friendly & helpful. Car parking was so handy and location to Chinatown and city theatres is perfect. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Very good value. Great location. Good size studios. Great for parking and easy too get to if you are driving. If you want a nice comfortable central place to stay in Melbourne and don't need hotel frills like bars and restaurants etc this is perfect. Nice area with nice local bars restaurants. Effortless that is the best way to describe City Limits Hotel. Unlike a big hotel , we did not have to line up to check in, we were in our room within 5mins of arriving - effortless. Having a clean and tidy room to come back to after a long day of sightseeing is heaven - effortless. Having a light breakfast provided of juice,toast & cereal each morning is a god send especially if you are travelling with children- effortless. We had a great time in Melbourne.
City Limits Hotel was in the perfect location for where we wanted to go. We felt very welcome on arrival. Our room was serviced with extreme care. A big thank you to the person/s who made our beds, restocked the fridge, replaced fresh towels and clean the bathroom. I was impressed that I did not see any dust in the room.
Security and privacy was very much appreciated.

I'm usually quite hard to impress, however I thought City Limits
hotel is probably the most comfortable stay I have had ever. My partner and I actually felt a little sad to check out. Location is perfect for light sleepers like myself. Any noise will wake me
up so the location is perfect as there isn't a peep after 6pm; and yet the city centre is a mere 5 minute walk (including Chinatown). I thought the service and staff were fantastic and overly helpful, as well as kind and always available. Comfort was amazing, it actually feels like home after the first night. At an average price of $125 a night, I thought value for money was really good. You come back to a clean apartment with breakfast ready the next day. Just a great stay. Great stay. we were warned it could be noisy in China Town but we didn't notice any major disturbances. service was marked down as our room wasn't cleaned etc. on the last night. this was our son's fault as he left the "do Not Disturb" sign on the door when he went out. it also meant we didn't have the breakfast relaced for the next morning.
