Thanks for a wonderful stay wish we could have stayed longer. With 3 teenage children this was the perfect location. We had plenty of room in our unit and our children could come and go to the pool and beach as often as they liked. It was great to be able to just walk to the beach and shopping in minutes. To be able to leave the car securely locked gave us peace of mind. The room had all the daily essentials and cooking equipment needed. We will be recommended you to all our friends.

We have stayed at the resort previously and we have enjoyed our stay every time. We find the resort is private with the palm trees surrounding the units. The pools are great although they both should be heated. The resort is central to everything on the Gold Coast. We like the fact the resort is just out of Surfers Paradise which we find too overcrowed. Our stay was enjoyable and relaxing and we wish we were there now. However, there is some maintenance that needs to be carry out in the unit. Every single tap leaks! The toilet in second bathroom is very noisy and needs a good tap with the hand to stop the noise after every use. The dryer fluff catcher constantly fell out of the dryer which was annoying. The keyhole to front entrance needs looking at - it was difficult at times to open the door. You could be trying a number of attempts to just open the door which was very annoying. Please fix!

We enjoyed our stay at Grandiflorida. Only two problems encountered. The very rowdy party in the unit below on the Friday night. Called reception to complain and they visited the unit straight away, noise stopped (for about 20 minutes) and then continued until all hours. Not really appropriate or fair to have those sorts of guests at what we thought was a family resort. No follow up with us was done by the way. We were in unit 89 and the problem unit was 73. Fortunately it was only 1 night. The power outtage on our last night was a bit of a nightmare too but obviously no fault of the resort. Kids loved the warm pool and Bbqs by the pools were great. More regular room servicing would have been good, only once during our stay. was it serviced. We kept it tidy but dont really want to be constantly cleaning and vacuuming etc when you are on holiday. Advice of any special offers for return guests would be appreciated.

We have stayed there 5 times and on this occasion we noticed that some guests were drinking in the pool and partying loudly past the pool closure time. Unlike previous years there appeared to be no action being taken to stop this from occurring.

Loved the pool area and the fact you could swim until 9.30pm. Gave kids a chance to still use the pool when back at unit after full day out. Nice and close to beach with the walk through access. Overall, a very pleasant place to stay.

Everything was very good.except a greyish VN ? style holden commodore that reved his engine at approx. 5.00am every morning and as he leaves the carpark his tyres were always doing small burnouts. That was the only problem with our stay & I hope you can sort out that car for other guest that stay there over time. Again thanks for everytjing & see you again next holidays. Overall we had a good stay at Grand Florida. Our room was neat and had a reasonable kitchen. The dishwasher did not clean well, but as there was only 6 of everthing, this did not matter as I washed the dishes by hand. The bathroom sliding door was mouldy on the back. We asked if it could be cleaned when the room was cleaned, but it wans't so we did it ourselsve as best we could with what we had. I was dissaponted with the internet. Your web information forgot to mention that there is a charge for this service. I used the internet in the games room once but it was pathecicaly slow so I did not bother again at the resort. I recomment that flet or sim. be added to the chairs feet in the room above ours. The people above us had young children and were up at 6am each morning. They created too much moise moving chirs etc that were unable to slep much past 6. They were not jumping arround, it was just the noise traveling through the floor. This was probably my biggest issue with the whole experience. The pool are was great and were were able to BBQ and watch the kids in the pool.

The only issue we had was that the owner of the unit above us (unit 40 I think) was renovating and this was quite noisy at times. On one occasion the renovation continued well into the early hours of the morning. Otherwise this was our second visit back to Grande Florida along with two other families (staying in units 25 and 61) who also joined us on our last visit back in 2006, we really like the layout of the resort and it's closeness to the beach.
