Great experience. The shower in our room was not working very well when we arrived but after speaking to reception the problem was solved. Have stayed twice now and would do it again!

The apartment was very nice and very well located. I wasn't too sure what to put down for the staff or the service because other than check in we didn't see (or need) anything else. The only downside of the room, although not a huge problem, was the AC unit was quite noisy so wasn't really able to be left on overnight and it was very warm while we were there. Thanks for everything.

It was perfectly located for all our shopping needs. Very quiet at night. Perfect for our girls trip!! Only one down fall was some one in an apartment above us on the last day had thrown some of their rubbish over their balcony which landed on our balcony.

I had read terrible reviews on other websites regarding the apartment, and was pleasently pleased to arrive to a lovely, clean and quiet apartment. The apartments were small and minimalistic, but I wouldn't expect anything else from a non-residential apartment, particularly for the price. Beds were a little hard, however I do not find any hotel beds comfortable. Reception responded quickly to requests for additional linen.

Because we were on the first floor, we did get some noise from the laneway next to us, & the out look was mininal. The appartment was on the smaller size, but over all, we got what we expected. Location very good, staff helpfull.

I really enjoyed my staying at katz apt. It's really clean and everything were provided in the room. The only missing thing was the bottle opener ^.^. Other than that everything elses were excellent. The location was perfect. I would definitely recommend katz to my friends and relatives.

You couldn't get much better as far as value, location, access and staff goes - super helpful and very thoughtful. Especially for negotiating the city transport, even when going to visit a friend on check out they helped by looking up and printing out the transfers required and maps. Short walking distance to tram links/central train depot. I totally didn't expect such service. Luggage storage was going to be easy arranged as required, as long as you keep in mind the office hours they are there to help you 100%.They genuinely wanted to know if anything was not up to scratch. Katz was recommended to us by other adult friends staying from NZ who also found it great.The facility was excellent value for money, I was travelling with 3 teenagers, we downgraded to here for our remaining holiday after an initial stay close to our event but enjoyed it more than the pricier apartment. We would have been back in a flash if our planes hadn't run. We all loved it, especially the girls loved the free plug in broadband! My couch bed wasn't super comfy 1st night, but worked out where to sleep on it the 2nd night and it was all good. Great shower and washing machine/dryer, aircon heated the cute wee unit up fast. You don't get a view but everything else is fantastic, especially as we got a last minute price that was comparable to our friends backpacker - but we got all the facilities, security, privacy and location. We will be back, and spreading the word already!

The staff at the front desk were wonderful and very helpful. The room was clean and modern, and a perfect size for 1, or a couple. The hotel is out-of-the way on a side street, but is walking distance to anywhere in the city (about 15 mins from Federation Square), and not too close to nightlife to be noisy. The hotel had free Ethernet internet, but no wifi, which meant I had to buy and ethernet to usb adapter. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
