Very noisy people in room 45 - from 1.30am to 3.00am - lots of giggling and laughing - didn't complain as from time to time it seemed to stop and then it started again and appeared to move downstairs, though it was still audible -sounded like three adults - a man and two women. The male must have been a world class comedian because every time he said something one of the women laughed quite loudly.

Internet very slow this stay. Very frustrating. This is the second room I've had where the curtains are sagging because they're not hung properly. Think you need to check the curtains in all the rooms.

Good but very old and the shower was mouldy. breakfast was nice but the positioning in the restaurant made us feel like we were not important. No table clothes and only able to sit in a few space. Food was not replenished towards the end of service and we were made to feel like we had to hurry up and eat so they could set up for the next meal.

Never been to Ballarat before. Went for my son's graduation ceremony @ St Pat's. Online booking from Cairns and everything overall was great. Needed something close, was recommended by the school and it was exactly what I needed after a long trip from Cairns. We will be coming back later in the year - we will be using this hotel again.

Fantastic location - walking distance from city centre. Excellent service. Rooms comfortable but could definately use an upgrade - no fan in bathroom, no place to put clothes when in bathroom, lighting in room terrible, decor pretty drab. Fridge & bar supply excellent. Beds are comfortable. Love the 10.30am checkout!

Excellent stay with friendly, helpful staff. Enjoyed Ethiopian meal across the street. Really appreciated the staff opening the window before we arrived. Only improvement would have been a fly screen on the window that opened, but as we did not have flies and mossies during the night, we were fortunate The room did not allow for through ventilation -- there was an aircon if we'd wanted it.

The location is great for us as is in easy walking distance of the centre of town and our daughter's house. The room was tired and could definitely do with refurbishment but the beds are comfortable and the room was clean and well stocked.

Most obligining domestic staff when our door wouldn't lock and we requested more towels and honest when we left a blanket behind and it was able to be returned to us 24 hors later. Trent in the dining room also was most patient and professional when we totally bamboozled him at breakfast. An extremely big thank you also to manager for allowing us a late check out for only $20 extra.
