love merrimbula and Penguin Mews is well situated to take advantage of it. Great for kayaking as I can walk the boat to the water, close to the shops etc. lovely view from the balcony. used the BBQ area with friends which was handy, clean and large enough.

Second visit and loved it. Great place to relax, walking distance to everything. John was most obliging in getting us and our luggage to the bus on Thursday morning. The stairs were a killer for us old girls but would try for an apartment on the street front next time.

All was great but a couple of things, the toilet seat is just too low and stairs a bit steep and narrow. Also that room is a bit noisy with wind and laundry noise. But other great features made it a memorable stay... Great choice of kitchen appliances, great view, great location...

Townhouse with a thoughtful layout, designed to capture lovely ocean views from the upstairs living area. Well appointed with dishwasher and washing machine. Good water pressure in the shower with a nice shower head. Bed and pillows a little too firm for my liking. Swimming pool was a real hit with the kids. Walking distance to the "Boardwalk," Woolies, restaurants, clubs, and a playground for the kids. Overall good value for money for a family of five. Thanks, we hope to visit again.

Our appartment had everything we needed for a young family. The location was perfect - closest to Market St and waterfront than any other accomodation, walking distance to everything. We want to come back next year; same time & hopefully same appartment. Neighbour noise (talking on balconies loudly on telephones, televisions up loud with doors/windows open after 10pm) would be the only thing that could have improved, however there's not a lot you can do for that as owners.

Friendly welcome & offer to help with luggage. Alternative secure location to lock bikes found. (Apartment top floor) Premises very clean and quiet at all times. Extremely handy location - short walks to Fishpen, to local shops & beaches. Lots of tourist information was handy. All in all a great holiday experience.
