I booked at St Georges due to the location to the Darebin Sporting centre and affordabilty. As we were going to be coming in quite late, we just needed a place to sleep. We came in after 8pm (earlier than expected), The after hours box was convenient. Our room was comfortable. Street noise was very minimal. Bed was comfortable, best sleep I've had in quite some time. Will definitely book another room next time we have to stay in Melbourne.

We were pleasantly surprised by the large sized double room with brand new large bathroom. Staff were very accommodating and helpful with us staying an extra night.

I love staying at St Georges when i travel from NSW to visit my family and friends. I like the spaciousness of the room (including the high ceilings), comfy bed, lots of lighting options, and the old fashioned but homey vibe, plus is always very clean and the reception person is always friendly. Location close to all forms of transport and the shops and cafes in High Street is also excellent.

Great, well lit safe secure parking, clean spacious rooms and windows that open for fresh air. Friendly helpful staff and quality fresh breakfasts. Location handy to everywhere and tram stop out the front . Taitis kitchen across the road - delicious home style lebanese food. Too easy!

We were very happy with our stay. We travelled with our 3 teenagers and stayed in the family room. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is great with the Tram stop just outside the hotel and great restaurants a short walk away to High Street. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Would recommend this cheap and cheerful motel for those who want somewhere clean, quiet and comfortable to stay who don’t have the budget to stay right in the city.

This is the second time we stayed here in 4 weeks while staying in Victoria. The staff were exceptional and helped us with what we needed. Rooms were fantastic and centrally located to all Public Transport. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here .

Great location with trams to city virtually on the door step. Very friendly and helpful owner/staff. Older style building which has been renovated. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Excellent shower and WC facilities. Charges are extremely reasonable. Would like to see breakfast menu expanded slightly. Thoroughly recommend this motel.

Whilst the hotel is older it was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable and our room had some renovations completed. We couldnt hear noise from the street and we slept well. Close enough to eateries and the city.

As always, our room was very comfortable and clean. What we love about St Georges is how spacious the rooms are. The bathrooms are new and the water pressure is great! David is the best manager. He knows what we like in our room and accommodated without us even having to ask! That's service!
