Had a wonderful day away from my work. Only a couple of queries, I hadn't taken any face washers and none were supplied along with shampoo or conditioner. I suppose as I supply these things I thought they would be a standard items in such a higher standard of motel than mine. Once again it was a great place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place in melb from my motel and I would definately stay again. Very good. Especially appreciated the upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment. Only problem was our allocated carpark had been taken and as it was outside reception hours we just had to take a guess at where to park (and chose a private car park, even though it was dark blue on map - oops). Our ONLY disappointment was that the apartment had not been "aired" (? for a while) and still smelt quite strongly of stale cooking odours from the previous occupants. Even the bed-clothes and towels had this smell. The lady who managed the units was very friendly, welcoming and helpful, and a definite asset to the business. We had a lovely time thanks, we Realy did not want to leave.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the apartment was terrific with a couple of exceptions. The bathroom fittings were poor quality with a toilet roll holder over the bath where a soap holder should be and the showerhead in our apartment was very ordinary. The staff were terrific and especially at check in, they couldn't do enough for us, a big tick there. I intend to bring my wife and two daughters back to Melbourne later this year for a week or so and would not hesitate to stay at Tribeca again. Mark from Cowra, Australia 07 July 2012

Overall we were quite happy with our accomodation ,one problem we were a bit dissappointed with was we did mention on arrival we had an extra child with us so we would need to use the pull out sofa which we were told was no problem.However when the time came to make up the bed it was broken so we had to just put a mattress on the floor. Also im not sure the linen was fresh on the sofa as a number of hairs were on the sheets and the folding of the linen on it looked like it hadnt been replaced . A bit disappointing but im sure these things happen from time to time . We would be happy to stay again but would obviously be quite unhappy to have a similar experience.... The first apartment we were put in had a large number of data points, non of which worked, receptionist said data cable needed to go in the phone port, even though it wouldn't fit, solved by a move to a different apartment. There is no problem at all staying at this apartment except for the toilet smell that bothered us even when sleeping because the smell flows into the room.
Would suggest that the cleaning be checked. Use a very clean mop and cleaning cloth to clean the toilet floor and toilet seats respectively after each use so that dirt/smell from other units will not be brought to other units.
Hope my suggestion be accepted.

Very good but could do with a few small maintenance jobs like window catches broken, and blind roller cords broken. Mirrors in bedrooms would be excellent as only mirror is in bathroom so difficult when four women staying! Overall very quiet and good location.Helpful office staff. It was perfect to be in a place where it was so easy to get to the city. Very good industrial style apartments. Walls are not sound proof ;).... lol. Very good to have iga supermarket and liquor downstairs along with restaurant and salon. Definitely coming back to stay here for the same cheap price. No doubt!! I have stayed there before and enjoyed it but this time i had a window smashed in your SECURE car park which ruined the stay for me and delayed the rest of my holiday as i had to deal with police and cleaning glass out the car so i could put my daughters back in there seats then tape up the window to keep the rain out.
