Car Parking : Under cover secure parking is available for $35 AUD dollars per day.
Getting There :From the airport take the freeway and CityLink to the CBD.
By car approach from King Street (heading south) and turn left into Flinders Street and left into Highlander Lane.
By train alight at Southern Cross and walk south one block on Spencer Street to Flinders Lane turn left and walk just over one block crossing King Street and turning right into Highlander Lane.
Riverside Reception is located half-way down Highlander Lane. Pull your vehicle up outside Riverside Reception. Come into the building to register and our staff will show you where to park.

1. How far is Best Western Riverside Serviced Apartments from Melbourne Airport?
Riverside Serviced Apartments located on Flinders Street in the Melbourne CBD, is a 20-30 minute taxi ride from Tullamarine Airport during off peak times. Taxi fare is approximately $70 or alternatively, the Sky Bus shuttle offers the same service. Upon departure, we are more than happy to arrange a taxi or shuttle service for you to the aiport.
2. What time is check in and check out?
Check in time at Riverside Serviced Apartments and Riverside Annex is 2pm while check out time is 10am.
3. What if I arrive before the specified check in time?
If in case your apartment is not available before 2pm, guests are welcome to leave their luggage with us at reception.
4. Does the apartment have car parking?
Riverside and Riverside Annex have on-site undercover parking available for guests at a charge of $35 per day.
5. Are you close to transport?
Best Western Riverside Apartments is located on Flinders Street in the heart of the Melbourne CBD with a tram stop virtually on our door step, where guests are able to make the most of the free City Circle Tram. Both Flinders Street and Southern Cross stations are a short walk away and taxis can be booked directly at reception.

Best Western Riverside Serviced Apartments is rated 4 stars by AAA. Riverside Annex (Highlander) are rates 3.5 stars by AAA.
7. Does your serviced apartments provide internet access for guests?
Both Riverside Apartments and Riverside Annex have wifi facilities. Charges apply.
8. What tourist attractions are there near your serviced apartments?
Being in the Melbourne CBD, Riverside Serviced Apartments are within walking distance to numerous popular attractions, the Crown Casino, Melbourne Aquarium and the Rialto Observation Deck to name a few. Other nearby attractions include the Docklands, sporting arenas such as the MCG and Rod Laver Arena and the Arts Centre. For a bit of retail therapy, the shopping arcades along Bourke Street in the middle of the CBD are a short tram ride away as is Bridge Road, famous for its many discounted factory outlets. St Kilda Beach is also easily accessible by trams.
9. Are there any good nearby resaturants?
Restaurants are abubdant in the CBD and many within walking distance to Riverside Serviced Apartments. Chinatown isn't far and the numerous eateries at Southbank is only a short pleasant stroll across the Yarra River. Lygon and Bruswick Streets are 10 minutes by taxi or trams. Riverside Serviced Apartments also have charge-back facilties with several surrounding restaurants and cafes.
10. Are there any supermarkets and bottle shops nearby?
IGA Supermarket is a 8-10 minute walk from Riverside Serviced Apartments. There is also a Coles Express a few blocks down on the corner of Flinders Street and Elizabeth Street. The nearest 7 Eleven store is located just around the corner on King Street and a few doors down you will also find a bottle shop.
11. Does your carpark have any height restrictions?
Riverside Serviced Apartments provide on-site undercover secure parking. The height clearance is 2 metres, larger vehicles are unable to use the carpark and alternative parking arrangements will need to be sought elsewhere.
12. How much deposit is required to guarantee my reservation?
The first night's accommodation is required as a deposit and will be debited from the credit card provided. The balance will be payable on arrival. Please ensure the credit card provided when making the booking is presented on arrival.
13. How do I cancel my reservation?
Our cancellation policy at Riverside Apartments is that we require 24 hours within making a booking. Should a cancellation occur after 24 hours notice, the deposit will be forfeited.
14. Do you have a restaurant on site ?
There are numerous restaurants within a short walking distance to both Riverside Apartments and Riverside Annex (Highlander). All the apartments have cooking facilities for those who want a home cooked meal.
15. How far are the main Melbourne CBD retail outlets from your accommodation?
You can easily walk to the retail outlets or just catch the free city tram which runs virtually right past our door.
16. How far is Riverside Annex (Highlander) from Riverside Apartments and where do Riverside Annex guests check-in?
Riverside Serviced Apartments & Riverside Annex are both situated in the Melbourne CBD on Highlander Lane. Both properties are located within metres of each other while reception is located in Highlander Lane at Riverside Apartments.
17. What breakfast facilties does Riverside Apartments offer?
Located on either side of Riverside Apartments are popular cafes which are open very early for breakfast Monday - Friday. Should you prefer to have breakfast in your room the cafes will deliver to your apartment. On week-ends, you will find several cafes only a short walk away. Check with Reception for recommendations.

This is the second time I've stayed and it was as good as the first time. My only criticism is that the room needed new carpet and fly wire on one window and the light in the walk in robe wasn't working. I notified the person on the desk but the light wasn't fixed.
