What a fabulous place to stay. It’s a short walk to the restaurants, bars and marinas (maybe a taxi back up the hill).
You get the best of both worlds here - it’s like an AirBnB with kitchen facilities and a laundry room. It’s also a bed and breakfast but without the formalities of a set dining time. Mick prepares continental breakfast each morning to help yourself whenever you feel like it.
The rooms are sparkling clean and comfortable and the common areas are spacious with great views over the ocean.
Mick was helpful before and during our stay with tips and assistance on transfers and activities.
Probably the best accommodation we had during our 3 weeks in Australia.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at AIRLIE BEACH house. So comfortable with a magnificent view. The bed was comfortable, the shower was great and we appreciated use of the kitchen and the breakfast included. The house is very clean and there are several areas for resting and relaxing. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting to stay in AIRLIE BEACH

Getting There : Whitsunday Airport (Proserpine) and Hamilton Island are the two main airports in the Whitsunday region. Both have transfer services to Airlie Beach, with most operating directly to our front door.
Airlie Beach, an Australian resort town on Queensland's Whitsunday Coast, is a gateway to the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef. Sea cruises depart from the Port of Airlie, Abell Point Marina and Shute Harbour. The Airlie Beach Lagoon is a man-made swimming area with a family-friendly beach and park. The town is also known for nightlife ranging from backpacker bars to clubs.
