The Peninsular is a family friendly complex situated in a tranquil setting in the Fishpen area of Merimbula. The complex is also a haven for golfers and bowlers or for those just escaping the southern winters.
It is only a two minute walk to the surf beach, five minutes to the sheltered beach on the shores of the lake and a fifteen minute walk to the main shopping area.
There is a large BBQ and playground area. The fully self contained units have two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and 2 single bed in the other. A fold up bed is also available for a young child. There is a separate laundry in each unit.
Great location short walk to beach and town at affordably price. Comfortable accommodation which had everything we needed. Heated pool, off street parking. Quiet area. Easy check in and check out. Heather was friendly and professional.

Heather & Jamie were great hosts throughout our stay and helpful even before we arrived answering a couple of questions. The apartment was fully equipped washer dryer and dishwasher well appointed kitchen DVD player even a few toys in the cupboard. Lovely outdoor area next to a play area is the perfect spot to relax whilst the kidlets wear themselves out.The pool was swim & play ready. Close to a great playpark, fish&chippy, cafe and great waterfront walks... Just a short walk to the beautiful beach (dog friendly) Plane spotting was a fun race outside activity as the airport is down the road a bit. We recommend quiet tucked away The Peninsular for your next Merimbula stay.

Car Parking : Ample off-street parking is available which is able to facilitate boats and trailers by arrangement.
Getting There : Merimbula is a 7 hour drive from Melbourne, 6 hours from Sydney and less than 3 hours from Canberra. Daily flights to and from Melbourne and Sydney, are available. Bus companies also run services from Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra.
Merimbula is a mecca for fisherman, surfers, swimmers and walkers. Whale and dolphin watching cruises are available in the months of September to November. The golf courses and bowling greens are hard to beat or just come for a quiet and relaxing break.
