The Red Star Hotel (previously Comfort Inn West Ryde) at West Ryde is close to major Business Parks, (Rhodes & North Ryde) Hospitals (Concord & Ryde) and Shopping Centres (Rhodes, Macquarie & Top Ryde). We are 15min drive to Homebush Olympic Park and only 15min to Macquarie University. Easy access to Sydney CBD by Express Bus Service, takes you into the city every 15 minutes.
Our facilities are free onsite parking on a first come first serve basis (extra vehicles incur a $20 daily charge), In-ground Salted Pool, free WiFi, free daily newspaper, Large Flat Screen TVs with free Foxtel (6 channels), hairdryer and coffee making facilities. Communal microwave and self service guest laundry available. Ryde/Parramatta 18 hole Golf Course right next door. Most rooms with golf course views from ceiling to floor windows.
The Red Star Hotel is an Ideal place for the family getaway, Sporting Groups, Going to major events at Homebush, to the corporate traveller or just a short midweek leisure stopover. We have mid-week specials, Group Specials & Rooms with Breakfast discounts. We have standard queen rooms, family rooms, single twin rooms, queen and singles and interconnecting rooms.
The Red Star Hotel is a two storey motel with no lift access. We do not have Disabled rooms.
Pets not permitted on the premises.

- Monday to Saturday: Breakfast 6:30AM - 9:30AM
- Sunday breakfast : 6:30AM - 9:30AM (room service only)
- Monday to Saturday: Dinner 6PM - 9PM
- Sunday & Public Holidays: CLOSED
Please note: 30 minutes prior to close time is room service only.
Staff were polite and welcoming. Great to have meals on site as we were attending a conference.
