With 19 Rooms, City Lights Motel offers 8 ground floor rooms consisting of Spa Room, King room, 2 x Twin rooms and 4 Kitchenette rooms. 11 rooms are situated upstairs there you will find our Small family room that can accommodate up to 4 people and our Large family room that accommodates up to 6 people with the rest being Queen/Twin rooms ,we are centrally located between two shopping centres, Tweed Centro in Tweed Heads and Tweed City in South Tweed Heads. Ideally positioned directly across from the lovely Tweed River where you can enjoy throwing a line in for a spot of fishing or take a leisurely walk or jog along the beautiful pathways.

Our Off Street Parking means your vehicles will be close to your room and safe. High Speed Broadband, TV's with Foxtel, quiet heating and air conditioning, and self contained accommodation with cooking facilities are just some of the key features of this Tweed Head South motel.

	Getting There :We are centrally located on the old Pacific Highway (Minjungbal Drive) approx. 3 km from Coolangatta. Our riverside motel is adjacent to the Tweed River. There's a lovely river side walk with great water views right from our front door. Arriving from the North Take the Tweed Heads (Kennedy Drive) exit from Gold Coast Highway and turn left into Kennedy Drive, cross under Boyd's Bay Bridge & proceed south for approx 1 km we are positioned on the otherside of the medium stripe therefore you will need to turn around soon after the motel.City Lights Motel is on the left at 35 Minjungbal Drive. OR Take the 2nd exit Tweed Heads South (Kirkwood road) when you arrive at the lights turn left. You will find us approximately 1km down the road a little past Dan Murphy's on your left. Arriving from the South From the M1 you will travel over Sexton Bridge, take the Tweed Head South turn off this will bring you through the middle of South Tweed on Minjungbal drive and continue on past Tweed City shopping centre and South Tweed Bowls Club. You will find us approximately 1km around the bend on your left.

A volcanic peak called Wollumbin by Aboriginal people and Mount Warning by Captain James Cook is a striking feature. Tweed Heads is the main seaside town, nicknamed the Twin City because of neighbouring Coolangatta. A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to secure the booking.
Person making the booking must be 18 years old or over.

12% of total booking cost will be charged to the credit card at the time of booking by Bookdirect2save.com.au. Balance payable to hotel.

Cancellation Policy

We require 72 hours notice for booking cancellation otherwise amount equivalent to one night for the number of rooms booked will be charged to credit card provided.

No Show Policy

If no cancellation has been made and you fail to show up at the property, we will charge a one night room charge for number of rooms booked.

Child over 14 is considered as adult.Child aged 3 and under is free.

No Party Policy

We have a strict "No Party Policy" to ensure all our guests have a pleasant stay with us. The management reserve the right to refuse accommodation at their discretion we also reserve the right to have you removed from the premises with no refunds.

Smoking in rooms

We reserve the right to charge a $500 fee for extra cleaning.
This includes cleaning, dry cleaning, airing out the room, carpet cleaning and 1 or 2 nights of non selling the room.
