Getting There :Dalby is situated at the crossroads of the Warrego and Moonie / Bunya Highways, approximately 200 km north-west of Brisbane or 80 km north-west of Toowoomba. It is a comfortable 2.5 hour drive from Brisbane or 3 hours from the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast. Country Pathfinder Motor Inn is located at 62 Condamine Street, approximately 100 metres north of the Tourist Information Centre in Thomas Jack Park, on the Kingaroy Road, directly opposite McDonalds and adjacent to the Jade Court Chinese Restaurant. Brisbane domestic and international airports are approximately 3 hours travel by car. The new Wellcamp Airport near Toowoomba is just 45 minutes by car. |
| ATTRACTIONS: - Pioneer Park Museum - Features an exhibition including domestic and agricultural relics, a blacksmith?s shop, a large machinery shed, a watch house from the Dalby Police Station, Buchannan Cottage, comprehensive rock and fossil collection, fire arms display and early school house. - The Crossing Monument - Identifies the place where settler, Henry Dennis, camped while exploring the countryside around Dalby. - Jimbour House - Located 29 kilometres north-west of Dalby, this house featured in the TV series ?Return to Eden? and is now fully restored. - Lake Broadwater Conservation Park - The largest conservation park in the Golden West region featuring a number of water sports and a range of opportunities for bird watching. - Thomas Jack Park - Set on 4 hectares, this park is the perfect spot to take a stroll amongst the gardens or simply relax in the peaceful surroundings. |

Very noisy room. Would not reccomend anyone to choose room one as so close to main road and traffic noise, hoons,etc. Also noise from office and kitchen. Very noisy occupants on Sat night who kept my wife awake on and off until early hours of Sun. Ray from Hervey Bay, Australia |
