An oasis in the outback, the Desert Palms is a 3.5 star property offering individual studio villa accommodation, set around a crystal clear free-form pool with island, waterfall and surrounded by tropical gardens. All villas are air-conditioned and include bougainvillea-covered verandahs, private en suites and kitchenette facilities. The hotel offers outstanding value for the visitor wanting comfort at an affordable price.

We're located in the main accommodation centre of Alice Springs on the banks of the Todd River, close to town, Lasseters Casino - Alice Springs entertainment hot spot, the Convention Centre and the Alice Springs Golf Club is our backyard.

Although we do not have a restaurant on the premises for those who would like to dine out, some of Alice Springs best restaurants are within metres of the Desert Palms. These include the Golf Course Club House, Hanumans (Indian/Thai) and Balloons Bistro at the Crowne Plaza and four restaurants at Lasseters Casino including the Juicy Rump.
There is a small kiosk/shop on-site where food items and liquor can be purchased, a guest laundry, BBQ area and secure gated off street parking directly outside each villa.
The Desert Palms offers a calm, peaceful environment, which creates a sense of relief for the often-weary traveller. After a hectic day of travelling by road or air take pleasure in watching the world go by on the privacy of guests own balcony surrounded by palms trees while partaking in a light refreshment.

	Getting There :Airport Shuttle service operates transfers to and from Alice Springs airport and hotels. Otherwise taxis are available. If travelling by car from the North along Stuart Highway turn left onto Stott Terrace, right South Terrace, left Tunks Crossing, right Barrett Drive 600 mtrs. Or from the South past Heavitree Gap, turn right at large roundabout and take last exit to South Terrace. Turn right onto Stephens Road over bridge, turn left on Barrett Drive 600 mtrs.

Booking Policy

A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to secure the booking.
Person making the booking must be 18 years old or over.

10% of total booking cost will be charged to the credit card at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

We require 72 hours notice for booking cancellation otherwise amount equivalent to one night for the number of rooms booked will be charged to credit card provided. An administration charge of AU $20.00 applies to all cancellations.

No Show Policy

If no cancellation has been made and you fail to show up at the property, we will charge a one night room charge for number of rooms booked plus a administration fee of AU$20.00.

Child aged 2 and under is free otherwise all rooms are on a per person basis.
